9-month Programme with Optional Internship for a Career Change or Advancement
The first term of this programme is offered at Institut Hôtelier “César Ritz” in Le Bouveret and the following two terms at University Centre “César Ritz” in Brig, and is validated by Manchester Metropolitan University (UK). The Postgraduate Diploma is designed for university graduates and candidates with extensive work experience at managerial level, in any discipline or industry, who wish to advance their careers in the global hospitality and tourism industry.

Electives may vary each term and are subject to availability. Internships in Switzerland require three levels of German or French. Language courses count as electives. There are many different components to this programme, most of which involve activities which are embedded within the main course framework for each student. We have a 100% success rate in Switzerland for finding students appropriate positions in industry. More than 80% of students are placed in four- and five-star hotels. Just some of the hotels (* a member of The Leading Hotels of the World) where “César Ritz” students might train in Switzerland are: Upon arrival in Brig, postgraduate candidates who do not satisfy the English entry requirement will be requested to take an English proficiency test. Should their English not be adequate for the programme of their choice, they will automatically be enrolled in the Graduate Foundation Programme.
