Alumni Reunion In Taiwan

The Alumni Reunion was held on 27th September at The Westin Taipei, where Mr. Duke Nam, who graduated from IHCR in 1990, is the General Manager.
Mr. Eric Wang our Taiwanese Chapter President, who graduated from IHCR in 1994, together with Mr. & Mrs. Kisseleff, welcomed over 40 members of the Alumni Chapter as well as Mr. Jost Feer and Mr. Pianta, from TOSI, the Swiss Trade Office in Taiwan who also attended the reunion for which we are most grateful.
Despite the fact that many Alumni present were no longer working in the hotel industry, they came to celebrate their Swiss “César Ritz” experience. It is always a tremendous pleasure for our Alumni to be reunited. Some are looking for job opportunities by networking with more senior Alumni and others enjoy reminiscing.

- Mr. Jackson Yang (a Lax graduate from 1986), General Manager at the Dai-Ichi Hotel, who travelled from Saipan to Taipei particularly to attend the reunion, honoured us with his presence, and delivered a speech about his career and experience to his peers, dispensing plenty of advice.
- Mr. Michael Chien, Owner & Managing Director of the Fine Wines & Spirits Ltd. UNIQUE. Mr. Chien graduated from Lax in 1988 and was one of the oldest alumni present.
- Miss Daisy Ba, formerly with the Grand Hyatt, now works for Merill Lynch, at Corporate Finance. Miss Ba graduated in 1996 from Le Bouveret and is one of the most active alumni in
