The 4th Career Development Conference – 12-14 October 2006

«César Ritz» Colleges Switzerland has been bringing recruiters and students together here in Switzerland for the last four years in an effort to give all students a head start. The annual event also provides a platform to enable students to meet recruiters on the student’s home ‘study’ ground without the extra expense of travelling halfway around the world.

We caught up with several of the recruiters and students to get their impressions of the Career Development Conference. Click on the audio button to hear their responses.

Mr Andrew Rowe, representing the prestigious Seabourn Cruise Line, attended the Conference for the first time. Was he impressed with the event and students?

Over 20 of the world’s top hotel chains and cruise lines were represented at the Career Development Conference at the University Centre «César Ritz» in Brig. This important conference held for the fourth consecutive year in Switzerland, offers hopeful recruits the opportunity to come face to face with recruiters from some of the most prestigious and important hospitality establishments and chains. With close to six hundred hotels and cruise ships represented from Europe, the U.S. and the Middle East, many of the students were overwhelmed not only with information presented by the recruiters but many with actual offers of management trainings.
