New Facilities at Le Bouveret Campus
While already offering impressive accommodation and learning facilities for hospitality management students at their Le Bouveret Campus, César Ritz Colleges Switzerland recently opened the doors to a new building with 100 single rooms, state-of-the-art kitchens and a new cafeteria overlooking Lake Geneva.
The Colleges’ Ambassador for International Relations, Ms Marga Cretton, and Vittaly Mudrov Bachelor student from Russia, jointly cut the ribbon to signify the official opening of the facilities. Guests, staff and students then enjoyed a sumptuous buffet prepared by Culinary Institute Switzerland students in the new and aptly named Lakeview Restaurant cafeteria.
The new student accommodation building provides identical comfort as already offered in the Themis and Xenius dormitories in the other campus in Brig. Each of the single deluxe rooms comes equipped with a flat-screen television, a safe and fridge, and, of course, an en-suite bathroom. The rooms are spacious and furnished with a desk, office chair and sufficient storage and cupboard space. To help with getting a good night’s sleep, the rooms are furnished with a 120cm wide bed. With an unobstructed and spectacular view of Lake Geneva, the 52 single superior deluxe rooms are also offered to students wanting that little bit more.
The new cafeteria, named the Lakeview Restaurant and beautifully overlooking the lake, has different food stations that can offer warm and cold dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A ‘César Ritz fine dining’ restaurant area also offers a more refined dining experience where Term One and Two students get to practise their service skills, and students and staff can enjoy some of the finest food coming from the Culinary Institute students.
Opening soon will be the ‘Underground’ bar and lounge, the perfect place for students to unwind after a week of studies!
