Alumni from César Ritz Colleges Switzerland have a reputation for turning up anywhere in the world and in March, a small group met for a get-together in Taipei in Taiwan. The César Ritz Colleges’ manager for the region, Phong Huynh, sent us this report.

Our get-together was held at the 333 Restaurant at the Hotel Quote in Taipei andeven though only a small group managed to make it that evening, the night immediately kicked off in great style. After a welcome cocktail, we talked about our experiences at the school and during our internships, and exchanged information about our current positions and responsibilities.

Even though it was the first reunion in Taipei for some time, it was obvious that the César Ritz spirit had still remained. We chatted away the evening while tasting the special, delicious menu prepared for us at the restaurant.

Alumnus Wei Ling Tai clearly showed the dedication and attachment to the school by showing up after a busy day helping out at the Swiss Hospitality School Fair at the Westin Taipei. Wei Ling is in the picture together with our local representative, Michelle Shih. Also present at the get-together was Herve Findeisen, the regional manager for HIM in Asia.

While some alumni weren’t able to attend on the night, they did manage to drop by and say hi at the Fair during the day and it was nice to see their smiling faces.

It was such an excellent evening and we are all looking forward for the next event that may even be held in another city (Taichung was already suggested) so stay tuned!
