Midterm exams affect sports capability

To detract students a bit from their studying, a different kind of movie theatre was taking place during week 6. Student Committee arranged an open-air cinema outside of Bellevue-building and projected “Fear and loathing in Las Vegas” to a white screen which was put up on one of the Student Bar walls. It seemed to be a good reason to get out of the rooms, get some fresh air and enjoy popcorn :)

Currently we are looking for some hidden talents in the entire student body. There will be a talent show in a couple of weeks and people are curious what to expect; from dancing to singing or any other kind of speciality. Secret practices seem to take place in the rooms and we are hoping to maybe find our very own “César Ritz Idol”.

Due to “excessive” focus on doing well on our midterm exams and finishing up several reports for either “HOTS Business Simulation” or “Build your own bar”, our achievements at the annual Sports Day in Brig did not really show the effort all of our teams put into the regular practice sessions.

However, the team spirits were high and everybody was at least satisfied in the end that team work and fun did not come too short. Nevertheless, another sports day will be held soon and then we will be all ready to pay back. But first of all, our male soccer team has one more friendly game against the Bouveret selection and this time, everybody seems to be more confident to beat them and balance out the lost from last time.
