Mr Herve Fournier, Treasurer of EuroCHRIE participated to several committee sessions and was the moderator of an educational round table on Culinology. Mrs Susan Fournier as a member of the ACPHA/CAHM accreditation committee attended its general meeting. The conference was a great success and the three "César Ritz" alumni who work at the Hyatt made the stay of their former school director and teacher very special indeed.
Riian Nell graduated from ICHR in 1999. His first in-training in Switzerland took place at the Zermatterhof, however most students remember him as the McRitz supervisor during his 2nd year in Le Bouveret.. His next move was to Hyatt Houston for his J-1 in-training. He was then transferred to the Hyatt Regency Dallas, a 1,162-room property that is a landmark of the Dallas skyline with the tower and revolving restaurant, The Dome. Riian worked in the F&B Department, became the Assistant Restaurant Manager of The Dome and after 6 years, he has recently been promoted to Assistant Food & Beverage Director. What a great career path!. Riian misses his snowboarding days in Zermatt, but he has found love and happiness in Dallas where he will be married this September.
Also working in the F&B Department in Dallas is Rachel Kim. Rachel graduated from UCCR last December. Her first in-training while at IHCR was at the Hotel Drake in Geneva. She is now working in stewarding, setting-up banquets for up to 2500 covers. She is very happy to report to a "César Ritz" alumni in her department.
Rahul Bharadwaj has been working in Rooms Division since last January. Rahul graduated in December from University Centre “César Ritz” . He was a member of the team of the “House of Switzerland” during the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino. He still has fond memories from visiting our campuses and has enjoyed working with "César Ritz" students in various Hyatt properties in Orlando, Kansas City and now Dallas.
