The summer of ´07

In addition, a boat trip to the Montreux Jazz Festival was organized for those who wanted to enjoy the final day of one of the region’s most famous events.

On Sunday, the Student Committee arranged another day out – a small but sunny barbecue with the student bar open for soft drinks. There was volleyball for anyone who wanted to join in but most of us just sat together and chatted.

The heat does make classes difficult – being inside you sometimes just want to jump into Lake Geneva for a refreshing dip! But Mr Monten’s accounting class found a solution to the humid days by moving their lesson out onto the terrace.

For the upcoming weeks, we are looking forward to spending more evenings outside the Bellevue building and enjoying the warm summer nights with friends by Lake Geneva. So let’s get our school work done, guys, and then jump into the lake!

Summer has finally arrived in Le Bouveret and with it of course a new term has begun.

As usual, the first days of the new term were shaped by the procedures to receive and welcome students both new and old. An Icebreaker party was held on Friday to bring fresh and returning students together. It gave everyone a good chance to get to know each other, especially those students from the Russian Academy who will only be with us for three weeks.
