Distinction For Senior Lecturer At «César Ritz» Hospitality School Switzerland

Chef Alain Müller, Executive Chef and Senior Lecturer Culinary Studies at Institut Hôtelier “César Ritz” in Le Bouveret, has been invited by HUG AG to be a member of the Jury for the following competition, which is organized in collaboration with the Swiss professional association ‘Guilde Suisse des restaurateurs-cuisiniers, Richemont’ of Lucerne as well as Salz & Pfeffer, a gastronomic publication, and the company Cash & Carry Angehrn.

The aim of HUG and its collaborators is to encourage innovation amongst Kitchen Chefs, Pastry Cooks-Confectioners as well as Bakers-Confectioners.

Creative Competition 2006
“Dessert Fantasies”

The above competition consists of two categories – professionals and apprentices - and is open to all those who have trained in Switzerland, Germany or Austria

The first prize is a week-end for 2 people in Paris, Vienna or Barcelona, including a visit to a renowned bakery or confectionary.

Chef Müller, who is collaborating for the second time as a Judge from a Swiss hotel management school during this prestigious competition, already has several years’ experience in this field and we are sure he will enjoy participating once again.

We look forward to hearing who is selected as the finalist on 26 May 2006.
