A ‘cool’ hotel

Learning can be ‘cool’ especially if you’re up at 3,000 metres!  «César Ritz» Colleges Switzerland hosted a four-day workshop in April where 21 participants from 14 different countries learnt about changes to the hotel management and tourism school programme. They also took the opportunity to get to know faculty members, staff and students from both campuses.

After three days of hard work, the fourth and final day was devoted to a trip to Zermatt where a train took participants 3,000 metres up into the mountains to Gornergrat. After a short initiation walking on the slopes there was a visit to the igloo village, an amazing hotel that consists of eight rooms, a bar and a restaurant all built into the snow. Now that’s what we call a really ‘cool’ hotel!
